Ember.js and Automated Testing

Ember.js is an open-source JavaScript web framework, based on the Model–view–viewmodel (MVVM) pattern. It allows developers to create scalable single-page web applications by incorporating common idioms and best practices into the framework.

When it comes to running your tests there are multiple approaches that you can take depending on what best suits your workflow. Finding a low friction method of running your tests is important because it is something that you will be doing quite often.

Testing is a core part of the Ember framework and its development cycle.

Let's assume you are writing an Ember application which will serve as a blog. This application would likely include models such asuser and post. It would also include interactions such as login _and _create post. Let's finally assume that you would like to have automated tests in place for your application.
